The Make it Smart Hub demoed equipment at Mareel in Lerwick on 6 October for the ‘A zero carbon future through construction and innovation' showcase and conference.
The event was organised by Highlands and Islands Enterprise (HIE), which, along with other organisations like the Make it Smart Hub, hosted a stand to offer advice and information on funding support.
Those attending learned about new skills, training and careers in construction as well as innovative new sustainable processes, business support and low carbon heating.
Key speakers at the conference included Chris Stewart, President of Royal Incorporation of Architects in Scotland (RIAS) who focused on the circular economy and HIE’s John Mackenzie who spoke about the agency’s support for housing and construction sector. Watch the full event below.
